The Vision, Mission and Core Values for the Municipality were reviewed at the Councillor Strategic Planning Session that was held on 26-28 January 2022.

We describe the new vision, mission and core values of the Nkandla Municipality as follows:

• LONG TERM VISION -To be a high-performing rural municipality driven by continuous improvement of quality of life for Nkandla Citizens by 2033.
• OUR MISSION STATEMENT- Nkandla Municipality renders effective service delivery encompassing nature and heritage to ensure poverty alleviation, sustainable economic growth and development through self-help and self-reliance

 

In all of our work and engagements, we subscribe to the nine corporate values for Nkandla Municipality which are also aligned with the Batho Pele Principles:
